This bracelet design centers around the Double Happiness symbol, “囍” (pronounced shuāngxǐ, 双喜) in Chinese, having two copies of the Chinese character 喜 (pronounced xǐ), which means joy and happiness. It’s commonly used as a Chinese wedding symbol to represent double the joy and happiness for the newlyweds as they begin their marriage. This Double Happiness symbol is integrated into this design in a subtle way, so that we can wear this bracelet regularly (despite not celebrating marriage) to remind us of the daily joy and happiness around us.

By the way, this was the design that started our Flowing Wonders business, when our Founder designed this bracelet for his mom in celebration of his parents’ 45th wedding anniversary.
